Beducu (Bende, Duna, Cumpra) was built with a simple belief: Marketplaces should serve people by being usefull and searchable.
We are not a faceless corporation. We are a platform made specifically for Aruba. Businesses are guests here, not the primary customers. Our goal is to facilitate fair trade between locals.
On many platforms, you pay to be seen. Not here.
Your phone number and minimum contact details are encrypted in our database. They are only revealed when you choose to share them with a logged-in user. And you get to decide how you want to get in contact. We do not need nor will sell your data to advertisers.
Information that we collect from you are: "Username" so other can adres you in a message. IP at creation. email adres so we can reset your password if you forgot it(don't use it for contact!). Tel# to verify your local. FB (optional) if that is your preferred messaging method.
No automated bans. No algorithmic feeds. Every moderation decision is made by a human moderator who understands the context. We believe in personal relationships over automated traps.
